In addition to presenting the federal laboratories report to Sacramento policymakers, CCST Executive Director Susan Hackwood and CCST Fellow William McLean, formerly director of combustion and physical sciences at Sandia California, went to Washington D.C. to visit the offices of Senators Boxer and Feinstein, eighteen California congressional representatives, as well as Rep. David Hobson (Ohio) and Raymond Orbach, director of the Office of Science at the DOE and former CCST fellow. Congressman Calvert also hosted a reception for CCST.
