Jeff Foote

Kermit Mckenzie Jr. High

Jeff Foote is a teacher at Kermit Mckenzie Jr. High in the Guadalupe School District. His B.A. in Spanish has served well in this small district with a very high percentage of Spanish speakers. His M.A. is in Educational Administration, but classroom teaching is his love. He has been in leadership of a variety of National Science Foundation partnerships, as well as regional and state level technology projects. His main activities presently are  as a co-director of the Central Coast Science Project at Cal Poly, SLO, an 'e-mentor' with eMSS, 'SCALE', a pilot project with UC Santa Barbara & US Fish & Wildlife using GIS and 'spatial learning' through environmental studies, and now, this opportunity to share in the work of CalTAC.
